I have been practicing massage since 1986 and am Nationally Certified. I received my initial training at the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe and at Wellness Skills, Inc. in Dallas. I taught Clinical Anatomy and Physiology, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Technique at Wellness Skills, Inc. In addition to my extensive training in massage therapy, I hold a Masters Degree in Dance from American University in Washington, D.C. I am grateful to all my teachers, students and clients who have taught me so much. I've authored two books for massage therapists: Stretch Your Clients: The Bodyworker's Guide to Client Table Stretches and Releasing the Rotator Cuff. I also teach dance and yoga and am a personal trainer. I bring my eclectic and extensive background into my teaching for an interesting and enlightening learning experience.
